The word haint is an alternative spelling of haunt, which was historically used to refer to a ghost or, in the Hoodoo belief, a witch-like creature seeking to chase victims to their death by exhaustion.

Across the South, the tradition of painting porch ceilings blue - or "Haint Blue" - is alive and well even today because it is believed to ward off evil spirits and with tales of voodoo running rampant, we'll take all the help we can get!

"Haint" is a superior quality, solvent-resistant polyester glitter that provides an incredible black base with extraordinary rainbow sparkles.
