CAJUN YARD DOG

Y'all know what a 'Cajun Yard Dog' is?  It's what Cajuns call them gators in the swamps!  Most people will relate swamps to Florida, but no, Florida has Everglades.  Louisiana has swamps.  And let me tell you, chéri, if you're Cajun and live in (especially) lower Louisiana, you'll step out your front door more than once to be greeted by a Cajun Yard Dog!  And all you do when that happens, is slowly back step into the house & you find you another exit!  By the time you come back home, he usually has moved on along his way!
