FRONT STREET

I thought I knew every Southern sayin' there was until the other day when I was speaking with my business partner and I had inadvertently indulged in some of her private matters while in front of others and she thanked me for 'putting her stuff out on Front Street'.   Front Street?  What the heck is 'Front Street'???  I suppose this isn't just a southern term tho.  I'm sure it is used widely around the world, but no one told me about it until just then!  So here's to putting yer business on Front Street, folks, because like we say, 'Here in the South, we don't hide our 'crazy', we put it on the front porch...and, well if we don't, you can be sure someone's gonna put it on Front Street for ya!
